UNICEF Pledge to Young People

This is the pledge that UNICEF gives all donors to UNICEF, as well as to potential donors.

” I pledge to give young people a voice:

• To listen to them.
• To give them a chance to express their opinions
  respectfully and constructively.
• To help them to become responsible citizens.

I want to make a difference.”

In the last statement, it is implied “to make a difference” to the world.

This pledge and the attitudes and behaviors that it encourages, are important for everyone interacting with children and young adults to try to follow.

This pledge is especially important for parents that have young children and teenagers in their house.
